The trick candles weren't so tricky

Yesterday we celebrated Josh's birthday. As it was Sunday we just had a celebration at home. He requested cheesecake so that's what he got. He was so proud of himself because he blew out the "trick" candles on the first try.....I guess they didn't trick him. Joe was having a fit in the picture I took of all the kids. Anyway, it was a nice birthday. I think Aaron and I are taking him out to lunch and movie later today...that's our tradition...birthday parties with friends every four years and the other years, a date with mom and dad.

14? I can't believe you have a 14 year old. That is so crazy! He sure looks like he has matured so much. Happy birthday to him!

Happy Birthday to Josh. Looks like he had a great birthday. I love it when the kids want something other than a traditional birthday cake. Cheescake is a great idea, I could have some right now.
