The Zoo

Last Thursday Aaron and I had a day off on the same day! This has not happened in quite some time....so, although there were dishes to be done, laundry to do, and many many other things to be done....we went to the Omaha zoo. We only had a short time before we had to go get the older kids from school but we enjoyed the gorillas the most! It was fun to go with just one kid...well, two counting Aaron.

And for your viewing pleasure I've included a small clip of Hannah's singing abilities. I know we "enjoyed" this little song for the entire hour we drove home....I wonder if I should teach her the other verses...

So many things to say.....I love that even though there were a million things to do you chose to have a family day. The other stuff will always be there for later. I love the wonderful little song and singer...what a sweetie pie. However.....the seat belt thing around her neck is scaring the cr_p out of me. Whose seat belt is it, hers or the seat next to her. Don't even want to think about the possibilities with that one.

I should of clarified with that one...yes, it's the seatbelt next to hers..she was the only child in the van and that seat belt is usually in use...rest assured that the situation was remedied as soon as the camera stopped rolling...

What a cutie, I can't believe how much she has grown since I saw you last. I'm glad you had a chance to get out for a day.

The seat belt in the car goes round my neck, round my neck, round my neck, the seat belt in the car goes round my neck all through the town!!! JK, don't worry, you can totally see that it wasn't her seat belt. Look over her shoulder and you can see hers, she was in no danger! Glad you had time together!
