Bittersweet

I have to say that I do love going to my job...I love that I get along with all of my coworkers. I've made many friends and I have a good time at work...I laugh and love the social part of it. So, it was hard to make the decision to apply for another position in the hospital. It was something I've thought of doing for a while. After seeing a position for ER patient registrar posted I decided to go for it. Although I will miss my friends and I will even miss all the things I do in the kitchen...for I am truly a jack of all trades there....catering, trayline, cook, grill, cafe worker, clerk, and several others.....I love knowing so much of the ins and outs and goings on down there. (The kitchen is in the basement). But, this is an opportunity to be home more with my kids...I'll work four nights a week and be home during the days with my kids. I can workout again...as I am just a morning "worker outer". So, my new journey will start sometime in the next few weeks....I'm nervous and excited and sad and happy all at the same time.

Kim, I did registration in the ER, I loved it. No 2 days were the same. Good luck in your new position!
